New Papers at CogSci

Two of my recent papers have been accepted as oral presentation and poster presentation at CogSci and are now published in the Proceedings of the Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society. One of the papers is the outcome of my time at UC San Diego. Together with Prof. de Sa, I applied Machine Learning models to explore a psychological research question, namely the racial bias in pain recognition. The other paper presents a CNN-RNN model that was inspired by human cognition. It combines bottom-up and top-down processing pathways to improve efficient learning.
